Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi; The Experienced And Skilled Brazilian Banker

Before going against all odds and becoming the Chief Executive Officer of Bradesco, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi put in a lot of work and patience so as to shape his career to this date. As the CEO of Bradesco, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is in charge of coordinating the activities of Bradesco by ensuring that everything runs efficiently.

With over 27 million account holders, Bradesco is considered one of the biggest financial institutions in Latin America. Located in the 4th floor of the Red Building in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Bradesco has also ranked as the 2nd largest private bank in Brazil. Luiz Carlos Trabuco was born in Marilla, Brazil. He studied Philosophy, Science, and Letters at the University of Sao Paulo from where he received a Bachelor’s Degree. He moved on to join the Foundation School of Sociology and Politics, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Upon completion, he received a master’s degree in Socio-psychology. After completing his studies, Luiz Carlos Trabuco joined Bradesco on April 17, 1969 as clerk.

He worked diligently and his commitment actually paid off when he started rising through the firm’s ranks. In 1984 he became the Department Manager at Bradesco and served at that position until 1992. In 1999 Luiz Carlos Trabuco became the Vice President of Bradesco. It was in 2009 that he was appointed the CEO of Bradesco.

Under Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi’s leadership, Banco Bradesco has experienced immense growth and expansion. Within less than ten years, the bank has been able to record seven million new customers. Furthermore, during the peak seasons, the bank can register 6000 new accounts a day. The bank’s service network has also grown in four years from 3500 agencies to 5000 agencies. Apart from banking, Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is known for his impeccable performance in the commercial sector following the great results he produced while at Bradesco Seguros. All of this basically proves that Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi is the right man for the job.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco has worked in numerous other firms other than Bradesco throughout his career. At one point he worked at the Brazilian Association of Real Estate Credit and Savings Entities where he was the Chairman of the firm’s Board of Directors. Febrabans Credit Operations Portability Governance was another institution Luiz Carlos Trabuco worked with. There he worked in many different positions including the Vice President of the organization’s committee. Banco Espirito Santo SA is another firm that Luiz Carlos Trabuco has worked in. Not forgetting, the Brazilian Association For Listed Companies where he was a board member from 2000 to 20003.
